Q. What is the PREMIER OPTION BENEFITS Membership?
A. It's a membership plan that lets you take advantage of significant volume discounts when purchasing health-related products and services. Since this program is not insurance, there is never any paperwork to fill out, reimbursements or waiting periods. Everyone qualifies. Simply present your card at the time of purchase and receive on-the-spot savings.

Q. I already have health insurance. Why do I need PREMIER OPTION BENEFITS membership?
A. POB membership can be a valuable addition to health insurance coverage since it offers savings on products and services which may not be covered by your insurance program, or which are covered only after you pay a large deductible. Your membership can significantly decrease your out of pocket costs. In addition, offering you options is our specialty.

Q. Does the discount Dental Plan cover routine services?
A. Yes and more! This is a comprehensive plan with more than 71,000 dentists nationwide. This program covers routine dental services as well as specialties such as: dentures, bridges, x-rays, braces, fillings, crowns, and more.

Q. What if I move or need to locate a local provider when I'm traveling?
A. Just turn the card over and call the 800# on the back of your membership card to obtain the most current list of providers in your area.

Q. Why should I use the Mail Order Pharmacy?
A. More than 80% of all drugs prescribed today are long term maintenance medications. You are guaranteed the lowest prices on these drugs when using the mail order pharmacy. Members are quoted prices equal to AARP's (American Association of Retired Persons) mail order pharmacy less 10% or $5.00 below the lowest competitive local pharmacy price quote provided the brand name or generic drug costs $10.00 or more.

Q. Whom does my membership cover?
A. The card covers all your legal dependents at one low price.

Q. How many times can I use my membership benefits?
A. There is no limit on the number of times you and your family can use your membership throughout the membership year.

Q. What is included in the National Vision Plan?
A. Prescription glasses are discounted 20% to 60% in most cases. Eye exams and surgery are discounted 10% to 30% where available. Contact lenses (excluding disposables) are discounted 10% to 20% at retail optical locations. For maximum savings however, there is a mail order program for replacement contact lenses in which all major brands of soft and gas permeable lenses are discounted 10% to 40%.
